Convatec DuoDERM Extra Thin Dressing is a flexible and conformable hydrocolloid wound dressing. It combines the unique hydrocolloid formulation with a vapor-permeable outer film to provide an occlusive moist environment. DuoDERM film covers susceptible areas anywhere on the body and gently protects the newly formed tissue or skin at risk of breakdown.

How to Use DuoDERM CGF Dressing?

How to Apply DuoDERM Square Dressing?

1. Wash your hands, cleanse and rinse the wound and then dry the surrounding skin.
2. Measure the wound to select the appropriate dressing size, allowing a 3.0cm (1-1/4 inch) overlap on the intact skin around the whole wound.
3. Warm the DuoDERM dressing between your hands.
4. Remove the “top” white release paper, being careful to minimize finger contact with the adhesive surface.
5. Hold the adhesive side of the dressing over the wound.
6. Align the dressing with the center of the wound.
7. Gently apply the center part of the dressing.
8. Remove the “bottom” white release paper while rolling the dressing in place – but do not stretch it.
9. Repeat the above procedure on the other side and remove the clear release paper.
10. Gently mold the dressing into place for 30-60 seconds.

How to Remove DuoDERM  Dressing?

1. Gently lift one corner of the DuoDERM  dressing.
2. Roll it away from the wound while holding the skin away.
3. Gently lift the other corners and pull upwards until the dressing completely peels off.
